Prime Minister’s Internship scheme under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India announced in the Union Budget 2024-25, is a comprehensive schemefor providing internship opportunities to 1 crore youth in top companies over a period of 5 yearswith an objective of improving employability skills of the youth.

Internship opportunity for unemployed youth who have completed their academics!
✅ Minimum Stipend: ₹5,000/month (Varies depending on the company)
✅ One-time grant: ₹6,000
✅ Insurance coverage through PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana
✅ Various sectors & top companies are covered!
✅ Age: 21-24 years
✅ Education: Minimum Class 10 Pass or above (ITI, Polytechnic, Graduation, etc.)
✅ Not engaged in full-time employment or education (distance education/online program is allowed)
❌ If graduate from IIT/IIM, NLU, IISER,
❌ If candidate has qualification such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, any Master’s degree
❌ If candidate has completed training under NAPS or NATS at any point
❌ Income of any family member (family includes self, spouse and parents) exceeds Rs 8 lakh for FY 2023-24.
❌ If any family member is permanent/regular government-employed family member.
❌ If candidate is undergoing any skill/apprenticeship internship or students training programme under Central/State government.
