The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tamil Nadu was inaugurated established a Centre of Excellence and Skill Development Institutes (t-SDIs) on 10.10.2018.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish ASDC in 3 sectors viz., Auto, Auto Components & Machine tools, Hospital and Health Care Services and Transportation & Logistics have been signed between TNSDC and Lead Implementation Partners (LIPs)in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 30.11.2019

The next edition of World Skills has been scheduled in Shanghai, China, 2021.In order to prepare the youth of Tamil Nadu to excel in World skills 2021 district level skill competitions have been conducted during January 2020 in 47 Skills. State level skill competitions have scheduled on last week of March 2020
